BRF’s Collaboration Link revives TECHBY20 initiative monthly meetings

Collaboration Link, BRF’s initiative that promotes collaboration among government agencies, industry, universities and private business, recently hosted a TECHBY20 monthly meeting, marking the revival of the series after a hiatus.

The event took place at BeauJax Crafthouse, where 20 professionals representing the Shreveport-Bossier City tech and IT community gathered to network, socialize and exchange ideas.

The meeting featured Joshua Copeland, Cyber Security Director at Quadrant Information security and a Bossier resident as the guest speaker. Copeland, known for his influential and often viral “unpopular opinion” posts on LinkedIn, shared his insights with the group.

Additionally, Copeland is an adjunct professor at Tulane University and is an Operations and Training Officer in the Cyber Reserve.

TECHBY20 is dedicated to fostering a vibrant technology ecosystem along the I-20 corridor in North Louisiana, with events held across both Northwest and Northeast Louisiana.

The initiative is a program of the North Louisiana Economic Partnership (NLEP), managed by Collaboration Link, and serves as a platform for businesses, nonprofits, and educational institutions to collaborate and strengthen the region’s tech landscape.
