BRF is pleased to announce Lennis S. Elston, CPA as the new chairman of its Board of Directors. Elston has been a BRF board member for over five years and most recently served as vice chairman during 2019. She began her tenure as chairman in January 2020.

Elston has been a CPA in Shreveport for more than 45 years, owning her own firm from 1974 to 1987, and later becoming a Certified Financial Planner. Over the years, she has served her profession well by using its many facets to help improve the financial lives of others. She is a 1966 graduate of Centenary College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Business Administration. She is a current member of Centenary College’s Board of Trustees and is a member of the college’s Alumni Hall of Fame. Elston and her family are long-time members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, where she has served in many ministries, most currently as a “Change Ringer” (of Cathedral Tower bells) and as a Eucharistic Minister.

The officers for BRF’s 2020 Board of Directors are: Lennis S. Elston, CPA, Chairman; Terry E. Moore, Vice Chairman; Linda C. Sell, CPA, Treasurer; Willie C. White III, Secretary; and Arthur G. Thompson, Past Chairman.

Additionally, BRF is pleased to have Ralph W. Baucum III, MD, Edward J. Crawford III, and Graham Walker join its Board of Directors.

Baucum is a cardiologist with Advanced Cardiovascular Specialists in Shreveport.

Crawford is Managing Partner at Atco Investment Co. in Shreveport.

Walker is President and CEO of Fibrebond in Minden.
